Last night we had our first Pilgrim dinner: sopa de ajo, pescado con patatas, y helado ( which was an Eskimo pie on a stick, but delicious) and of course vino tinto in the company of a woman from Tasmania, a woman from Austria, a woman from East Germany, and 2 women and a man form France. I wish I remembered more French.
Got a good night's sleep on my top bunk and we were underway by 7:15. A lovely wooded walk along the Rio Argo and now after an hour we are enjoying cafe con leche and a little sandwich. It looks like it might rain, very overcast.
Marty looks like a serious writer contemplating the next great Camino story of girls gone wild.
